Fr John Cornish celebrates the 50th anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood on Tuesday 29th June. We had a weekend of celebration at Holy Trinity to mark this special occasion. On Saturday 26th, Fr John celebrated a Votive Mass of the Holy Spirit, and on Sunday 27th, he celebrated a Votive Mass in honour of the Apostle Peter. On Monday 28th June, Fr John is off to spend a week in Walsingham, a place very dear to him. Many thanks to everyone who generously contributed to the cost of this week as a way of showing our love and gratitude for his priestly ministry, especially here at Holy Trinity for so many years.
