News from this week’s service sheet: The Notice of Vacancy for Holy Trinity has now been posted, and the PCC will meet after Mass on Sunday 27th November to progress to the next stage in our search for a new incumbent.
The Christmas Fair will take place on Saturday 10th December. Please see Jenny and/or add your name to the list at the side of church if you can help on the day. In advance, we are looking for donations of books, toys, bric-a-brac, preserves and cakes to sell on the day, along with prizes for the tombola and raffle. We would also be grateful for any help in moving tables after the Mass on Sunday 4th December and setting up from 7 pm on Thursday 8th. Please collect your raffle tickets from the back of church.
Next Sunday, 27th November, marks the start of a new liturgical year, with the penitential season of Advent, from the Latin adventus meaning “coming”. Over the next four weeks, we prepare ourselves to celebrate the birth of Christ and the Christmas season.
