The Christmas season continues, and this week we celebrate the Epiphany of The Lord. The wise men will soon arrive at the Crib in church.

Our Crib or Nativity in church at Christmas.
And she gave birth to her first-born son and wrapped him in swaddling cloths, and laid him in a manger. (Luke 2:7).
Flowers at Christmas, in colours of red, white, green and silver.
Our church is beautifully decorated with flowers during Christmas: the festive colours of red, white, green and silver. Thanks to everyone who sponsored flowers, and thanks to Pauline for the lovely arrangements.

We had lots of fun, bargains and fellowship at the parish Christmas Fair on Saturday 10th!

Stalls opened to the public from 11 am: raffle, bric a brac, decorations, jams and cake, books and CDs, nail painting, children’s toys, and tombola – and, of course, Santa’s very cheerful grotto!
Our volunteer stall-holders and our customers had an enjoyable time at the Fair. Also on offer were mulled wine, lunches, snacks and teas – delicious! Any profits go to church funds.
In the afternoon, children and adults were treated to a delightful puppet show of the Nativity. Many thanks to the Marionettes for presenting the show in the upper hall.
