Fr Simon blesses the new lectionaries on the First Sunday of Advent. — Fr Simon blessed the new lectionaries before Mass on the First Sunday of Advent. This was an occasion for us to remember fondly the kindness and generosity of Malcolm D’Aubeney, who died a few years ago, and who was a lay reader at Holy Trinity for some years, when Fr Richard was parish priest.

Our Harvest celebration on Sunday 20th October

Autumn flowers and fruit — Our church was beautifully decorated with rich autumn colours, as we thanked God for all the fruits and produce of the earth.

Tins, pasta and non-perishable foods presented by Highfield School — We thank very much the children of nearby Highfield School, their families and teachers, for the bountiful gift of non-perishable foods! These were presented last week in church. These gifts will be passed on to the local foodbank.
