On Thursday, we celebrate the Ascension of the Lord when, 40 days after his Resurrection and following numerous appearances to his disciples and the faithful, Our Lord commanded them to wait for the Holy Spirit, and ascended into heaven, as they watched with joy.
Fr John is taking a well-deserved holiday at the end of May, and we will welcome Fr Martin Poole SSC to celebrate Pentecost on 28th May,
Summer Fair on Saturday 1st July: We need volunteers to help in advance and on the day. Jenny will soon produce a sheet where you can sign up to help!
